AMRA – Analysis and Monitoring of Environmental RiskAMRA is a Research Centre in the field of Analysis and Monitoring of Environmental Risk. It is a permanent research facility for the development of innovative technologies applied to environmental problems. AMRA aims at providing SMEs and industry with innovative approaches, development of prototypes and user-friendly applications. AMRA can count on more than 300 researchers, advanced laboratories and equipment worth a total of 15 million Euro, for applications to seismic, hydrogeological, coastal, volcanic and anthropogenic risks. AMRA’s distinguishing feature is the high level and wide spectrum of its resources, allowing a multi-disciplinary integrated approach.

Research Support Office
The preparation of a successful research proposal requires not only a high level of scientific expertise, but also a deep knowledge of the various funding and administrative frameworks, including the formal bureaucratic, financial and legal aspects of a project.
The main objective of the office is to support researchers across all the thematic areas of AMRA throughout the whole project life cycle.
In particular, the activity includes:
- searching for funding opportunities,
- information on the different funding programme rules,
- preparation of the proposal complying with the programme rules and templates,
- costing and budgeting,
- post award management of the projects.
