AMRA owns a large database formed by the results of projects
and by continuos data streams coming from sensors’ networks.
Information contained in the database can be classified as follows:
-
geographical and territorial data mostly
concerning Regione Campania. They include all the information
needed to estimate hazard, vulnerability and risk assessment
for hydrogeological events;
-
data from sensors; they include:
-
seismic events recorded by the seismic
and accelerometric network in Irpinia (ISNet),
including earthquake source parameters, peak ground velocity
and acceleration. etc.
-
coastal radar, hourly measurements of
the velocity field of marine current in the Bay of Napoli;
-
data recorded from the borehole strain
meter network located in the Mt. Vesuvius and Phlegraean
Fields volcanoes.
-
software for territorial applications. They
include the software packages developed by AMRA for
-
estimates of flood levels and extreme
rainfalls at local and regional level and its variance;
-
estimates of the efficiency of different
configuration of rain gauges networks in different topographic
situations.
AMRA ha developed for Regione Camoania (GESMAT Project) a model
able to describe data from different sensors’ networks.
A “sensor data model” conforming the new standards
was developed. It allows to harmonize data from different types
of sensors and allows both integration and interoperability of
different and not homogeneous sensor networks.
