Short curriculum vitae Paolo De Natale got his Master Degree in Physics at the University of Napoli, Italy in 1987 and specialized in Optics at the University of Firenze, Italy in 1993. In 1988 he joined the European Laboratory for Non Linear Spectroscopy (LENS), in Firenze and, since 1996, he is in the permanent research staff of the Istituto Nazionale di Ottica Applicata (INOA), Firenze. Presently, he is Research Director at INOA and, since 2001, he has been directing the INOA branch in Pozzuoli, Naples, Italy.
Until March 2005, he was a member of the Scientific Board of the National Group of Volcanology - INGV. Since 2001 he is member of the Scientific Board and of the Board of Directors of the “Centro di Competenza - Regione Campania” for “Analysis and Monitoring of Environmental Risk-AMRA”, funded by EU. Since July 2005 he is trustee of the AMRA Scarl Board of Directors.
Publications Paolo De Natale has authored more than 100 papers, published in peer-reviewed international journals and books and is co-inventor in 2 patents.
